KHSA 2020 Live Virtual Event - Sept. 16 and 17 has ended
Welcome to the Kentucky Head Start Association’s 2020 Live Virtual Event! We are so glad that you are able to join us for what we hope will be a useful and timely online experience.

KHSA is pleased to be able to offer this virtual conference for FREE to any and all participants - the more the better! Please remember that this event is an experiment in delivering content virtually, so there may be small technical glitches.

Please review the schedule below and choose those sessions that you are most interested in attending. While they are labeled by topic and type, you are free to attend any session(s) that you prefer. And don’t worry if you miss a session - they are all being recorded and will be made available at a later date.

To Join a Session
To join a session, please click on the session title and from that session page select ’Video Stream’ (the yellow button on the left). This will take you to the Zoom Webinar.

Sched App Registration
The Sched app that you are currently viewing will allow you to create your own custom schedule, interact with speakers and offer feedback to KHSA about the sessions. Just click on "Sign Up" to create your free account. You can then create a profile and save your sessions for easy access later.

Have you ever wondered what kinds of childhood bruises are normal and what kinds are concerning for maltreatment?  Then this session is for you!  Dr. Currie will discuss recognition, reporting, and documentation of child physical abuse and neglect.  Case scenarios and photos of children with injuries will be presented. Please be aware that some of these photographs may be disturbing.
